Mission Failed: DevLog #1 - The First Big Update

Following feedback from my initial release I've made lots of tweaks and improvements to the game. Many more to come, and I'm not quite happy with the image contrast. But you can see where things are headed.

Improved Stealth Game-play

You can now see if you're crouched in 'stealth-mode' and if the enemy are alerted just by looking at your character. 

When in stealth-mode and undetected you're character blends in to the environment.

You now receive visual feedback when a stealth kill is in range (enemy is outlined)


Other Improvements

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

  1. Improved clarity of speech bubbles
  2. All objects and the corners of walls have had their colliders tweaked to allow for smoother movement through the environment
  3. Player collision has been fine-tuned to allow you to get closer to all objects and to improve movement through gaps
  4. Camera movement has been made much smoother
  5. When searching, container and switch interactions are much smoother
  6. Containers cease to be interactive and are no longer highlighted once searched
  7. Color correction has been added to make the game style more cohesive
  8. Unusable vehicles are now visibly unusable to avoid confusion
  9. Updated the game logo

And Some Bug Fixes

  1. The enemy alert icon in the HUD is now removed when a level is failed or completed
  2. Fixed enemies not becoming alert on grenade explosions
  3. Fixed death animation not playing if equipped with a knife
  4. Fixed incorrect player hair color on death animation (each co-op player has a different color)
